Baby Block Cakes

Ingredients & Directions


1 pk Cake / pudding mix
3/4 c Water
1/2 c Sour cream
2 Eggs
6 c Powdered sugar
1/2 c Water
1/3 c Light corn syrup
1/4 c Melted butter
1 ts Vanilla
1/2 ts Almond extract
Frosting and candies

Directions: In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, water, sour cream
and eggs. Beat together on high speed. Pour batter into 13 x 9″ cake
pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Cool completely. Cut
cake into 24 even squares. To prepare icing, beat together the
powdered sugar, water, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla and almond
extract until smooth. Add a few drops of water if consistency is too
thick, you want a drizzling icing. Place the squares onto a rack and
spoon the icing over. Allow icing to set. Decorate with additional
icing and candies.
