Basic Bread Pudding

Ingredients & Directions


2 Eggs 1/4 ts Salt
2 c Hot milk 2 c Buttered bread, cubed
1/2 c Brown sugar 1 ts Cinnamon or nutmeg
1 tb Butter 1 ts Vanilla
1/4 c Raisins

Beat egg well, add sugar, salt, spice and milk. Beat til very
smooth. Add butter, bread cubes raisins and vanilla.

Pour into buttered baking dish; oven poach until firm, about 45
minutes, at 325 F.
