Ingredients & Directions
2 c All-Purpose Flour 1/2 c Butter — melted
4 ts Baking Powder 1 Egg
1/2 ts Salt 1/2 c Cream
2 tb Sugar
Mix all ingredients together and spread the batter into a greased
8-inch pan. Bake in a preheated 450 F oven for 10 to 15 mins, until
golden brown. This exceptionally rich shortcake is the best base for
your favorite berries.
