Ginger Cupcakes

Ingredients & Directions


2/3 c Molasses 1 ts Baking soda
1/2 c Sugar 2 c Sifted cake flour
1/2 c Shortening 1 c Sour milk
1 ts Ginger 2 Eggs, beaten
1 ts Cinnamon

Heat first 5 ingredients to boiling, stirring constantly. Cool to
lukewarm. Sift soda and flour together and add alternately with milk
and eggs, beating thoroughly after each addition. Pour into greased
muffin pans and bake in a 350 degree oven for 15 minutes. Makes 16
