1/4 ts Pepper 1 mL
Salt to taste
2 tb Chopped fresh chives or

6 sl French or Italian bread;
-about 3/4 inch/4 cm

4 c Cherry tomatoes; halved 1 L
In small bowl, whisk together garlic, vinegar, oil, pepper and salt. Stir
in chives and basil. Reserve.
Barbecue or toast bread. Cut each slice into 1 1/2 inch/4 cm pieces.
Toss bread with cherry tomatoes and dressing. Taste and adjust seasonings
if necessary.
